Date Night Package

You’ll know this experience is going to be special when your innkeepers greet you with a surprise just for Date Night guests. Then, begin your evening with a choice of romantic carriage rides:

1. J&L Carriage will take you from the inn to the fabulous Second Empire for dinner (take taxi back to the inn) or

2. Provide your own transportation to Second Empire and have the carriage meet you there for a one-hour, pre-dinner ride in downtown Raleigh.

A $75 gift certificate for the meal is included with either option in this package.

To kick things off right, the Second Empire 5k Classic is “springing forward” to the spring of 2010 to start the new Grand Prix Series. We’re looking forward to another great turnout, and are excited about the chance to expand the series.

The 2010 Second Empire 5k Classic will be held on May 2 at 2pm and will once again feature the CU Fitness Center Pump ‘n Run Competition.

Second Empire Restaurant would like to invite everyone to our annual winemaker dinner for the Triangle Wine Experience. On the night of February 5th, Second Empire will be holding a wine dinner featuring winemaker Rob Fisher from Fisher Vineyards in Napa valley. Second Empire will donate a portion of their proceeds to Frankie Lemmon Foundation.

The Triangle Wine Experience is from February 5-7 benefiting the Frankie Lemmon Foundation. The Triangle Wine Experience is the Triangle and Carolina’s premier wine event encompassing tastings, dinners, and a Grand Gala with Live and Silent Auctions over a three day period. Winemakers from all over the world participate in this truly amazing event. All proceeds from the Triangle Wine Experience go the Frankie Lemmon Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and support of children with special needs.
